Blog to share learning of small, Scottish rural school
Yesterday morning primary 1 to 4 went a walk along the Annan river to the Annan Cemetery. It was a beautiful day for the walk and Declan showed us all his Mums plaque.

Primary 1 to 4 children went on a trip to Tesco last Thursday as part of the Farm to Folk initiative. The children were made very welcome by the Tesco staff. They had a great time and got to make bread, doughnuts and their own fruit dessert.
Well done to Desiree who achieved her purple white belt in karate.
Well done to Nathan who took part in a rugby competition with the Annan Tigers last week.
P1 to 4 had a great time visiting Annan old Parish church last month. The children got to see the Diroms grave, and learn more about the Dirom family. They also got to visit Annan Police Station where they got to look inside the police van and the police cells.

Well done to Tegan who passed her intro 1 in Ballroom dance and intro 1 in Latin dance.
Well done to Daniel and Douglas who took part in the Annan Riding of the Marches Gala front crawl swimming. Daniel came first in his event and Douglas came third.
Mr and Mrs Wilkins came in to talk to the p1 – 4 class about the Diroms. Mrs Wilkins wrote a book about the Diroms which the children have been using to learn more about the history of Brydekirk. The children were all very interested in what Mr and Mrs Wilkins had to say and they all had some great questions to ask them both. Thank you very much Mr and Mrs Wilkins.
Well done to Gordon who got 1st place at the West of Scotland Kart Clubs Scottish championship.
