I hope you have all had a lovely weekend relaxing from learning. Please take a look below for work that I would like you to complete this week.
Can I remind everyone that I have set out work for this week that on your Microsoft teams, there are also activities on Sumdog, Seesaw, and MyMaths. If you don’t have login details for any of these sites please contact the school using the email below. Tell Mrs Davidson you FULL NAME and CLASS and ask for your login details for the website you need. The email address you use is:
st-pius@dundeecity.gov.uk
NB You will notice each document has a number in brackets, the higher the number gets the more challenging the work is. Please choose work that will be challenging for you, not to easy and not to hard.
Numeracy & Maths
This week we are going to have a closer look at fractions, decimals and percentages.
Literacy
This week we are going to do revision on homophones, Synonyms and Antonyms. Below are some worksheets that will help with this.
Reading
Continue reading your chosen Novel at home, use the Blooms Taxonomy higher order thinking to help you create your own questions. You can then answer those question in full using evidence from your books. Here is a picture to help you remember the Blooms Taxonomy levels.
Writing
Adding to your diary entries, I would now like you to imagine you hadn’t seen your family for a full year. Write a letter home telling your family about you time at War. Remember to lay your letter out the way we learnt when we were learning about informal letters.
