Week Beginning 20.01.20

This week we have been celebrating and exploring the traditions of  Scottish people. we have been learning different Scottish country dances and tasting Scottish foods like oat biscuits, short bread, cheese and also were lucky enough to have some Irn Bru. We have also been doing art inspired by Charles Rennie MacIntosh – his Rose design has helped us to create some Rose tartan images.

In maths we have been learning about factors in multiplication, we have been using the cubes to help us figure out factors in different numbers.

In literacy we are learning about poetry, we have been having a closer look at alliteration.

First Week back!

It took us a while to get used to the classroom rules and listening to others but we have nailed it again we are back in the swing of things and enjoying the learning we are doing.

This term we are going to be doing a new topic, we are going to be looking at the Rain forest. We are moving onto look at multiplication and division in maths and learning about measuring area and perimeter in maths.
