Summer Show “what’s the crime Mr Wolf”

Summery of activity: My role was Johnny mole, I was a secret agent I found out the evidence against Mr wolf but then it blew up. I had three other mole assistants. I hid secret cameras throughout the forest to try catch Mr wolf on camera.

Learner dispositions: Challenge cheetah because I challenged myself on stage, self-motivated squirrel because I was hard-working and focused trying to learn my lines and dances, Resilient Racoon because I persevered when I forgot my line in the morning show and I was able to remember it.

P4-7 Blog

 

Ladies and gents, boys and girls, Welcome to the P4-7 blogs! This is the kiddies second week back to school! They have been enjoying their time and now we want to tell you all about it! 

P4

This week P4s have been doing math and in math they have been doing place value they also have been writing a wish story and reading Charlie and the chocolate factory and they really like it. In art they made a sweetie palace, they also have been revising on French body parts. Thanks for listening to what the p4s have been doing bye!!!  

P5

This week the P5’s has been learning about floating and sinking! Nearly the whole class reached their partitioning target! Well done P5! They have also been learning how to round numbers up to 100,000 to the nearest 10! 

P6 

This week the p69’s have been doing their bike ability with Mrs. Mowat and miss McLean and they have gotten on very well. In the playground they have been playground training pals and play leader training. They have also been doing health and wellbeing – me and my relationships. That is all P6 has been doing! 

 

P7 

This week the pupils in p7 have been writing stories about what they have been doing in the summer holidays. For math’s they have been doing numbers, adding, and subtracting and multiplying and dividing. For their literacy and reading they have been reading the book wonder and doing literacy activities on it. With miss smith, they have been recreating the famous scream paint and colouring it I with oil pastel. On Friday they have PE in which they are playing badminton and tennis. Have a great day. P4-7 blog!

Welcome ladies and gents, boys and girls to the P4-7 blog! All the kids have been having lots of fun doing their work, but they have also been working hard and have been concentrating very hard! You will find out all about their hard and fun work while you are reading this masterpiece!  

P4 –

The P4s have been making 3d art cakes and taking down the artwork on the wall for next year. Also, they are very lucky to have been taking a survey on what chocolate piece they would like to make but hopefully their teacher didn’t eat it all! 

P5 –

The P5’s have been focusing on making a book for a competition for the Macduff Aquarium! This will be their final piece of writing in P5! They will be illustrating the front page as well! 

P6 –

This week the P6’s have been having lots of fun! They have been doing measurement in maths! They have also been finishing off their reading and library books so the books can go back to the library! They have also met up with their P7 teachers and did lots of fun activities with them! They have also been doing art with Mrs Smith! They have also been watching videos and voting for the people they want to be their house captains!

 

P4-P7 Blog!!

 

Ladies and gents’ boys and girls welcome to the p4-7 blog! today all of the school were so sad to have the p7s leavers assembly so sit back and enjoy listen to what the p4-7 have been doing!!!!! Thye have been a fun week! 

 

P4 

They have been doing a chatterpix on how it is to be in p4 they also have been doing diamond painting and they have been warming up into their new class. They have been expressing their feelings on leaving p4. 

P5-

This week the P5’s have been helping to get their classroom ready for the next P5’s that will be taught there next! They have also been working on their P5 number work! The final thing they have been doing is sharing all of their fun memories in P5! 

P6 

This week P6s have had a fun week so far so let me tell you about it. On Monday we had a fun end of year quiz and the EMO girls won. It was a great quiz.  Now I will tell you we had an amazing time on the games on the I pads and this morning we watched the P7s leaver assembly. It was emotional. Lastly, we had lots of fun with Kapla. 

P7  

They have had their leavers assembly and decorating Strawberries. On Friday they are going to have fun water fights. Next, we have an AOG and an end of term assembly we will miss the P7s. There is so many good memories that come back of them.

Jubilee Week P4-7

Welcome ladies and gents, boys and girls. This is the P4-P7 blog! All the children have been having fun making things for the Queen’s Jubilee! Even though they have been working hard they have also been having lots of fun. Tomorrow is a Jubilee Party. Quick reminder, children can wear fancy clothes or something red, white or blue. It will be outside so wear something that will keep you cosy. 

P7 

The P7s have been doing fun jubilee activities and have been practicing the British Anthem ‘God Save The Queen’ for the jubilee party. They have also been filming for their Leavers Assembly. For PE they have been doing rugby! Lastly, they have been working on their personal projects and have been working on them for a while now. 

 P6 

This week the Primary 6’s have been making crowns for the jubilee party which will be with the whole school. Along with that they have made extra bunting with the colours of the Jubilee and the crown (purple and silver). For tomorrow they have been practicing the British anthem God Save The Queen. 

P5 

This week they have been making a chatterpix of the queen which they have just loved. Also, they have been busy making beautiful jubilee decorations. They have also been making crowns and flags. They been practising God save the queen. 

P4 

This week P4 have been busy working on their singing while practising God Save The Queen. Are you excited for sports week well the p4s have been practising their sports day races. Also, for gym they have been doing some athletics and have been really enjoying doing it. They have been very busy getting their fingers dirty while working on their Charlie and the chocolate factory display.

P7  

Are you excited to go to Dalguise in p7 well the p7s from this year have just got back. Today we are going to tell you a few peoples favourite activities: Emma – Giant swing or ab sailing, Nicole- Giant swing and Chloe- Trapeze. What activity are you most looking forward to? The teachers also had loads of fun at Dalguise too! The teachers took part in all of the activities that were taken place! 

 

P6 

This week the P6’s has been learning the British Anthem ‘God Save The Queen’ to celebrate the Queen’s Jubilee! Along with that, they have also been painting a poster of the queen with different tones of colours for the Jubilee. With Mrs. Smith they have been learning French! They have learned the French numbers, and along with that ‘Happy Birthday’ in French. Aldo with Mrs. Smith they are doing Positive and Negative Space Art! For PE, the classes have been learning Badminton Skills. 

P4-7 Blog

 

Welcome to this week’s blog for things like St Modan’s care home to even just the p7 transition to the academy. If you like books well, we have a bit in the p5s bit about Charlie and the chocolate factory. Now sit back and get out your popcorn for the p4- 7 blog. 

P4 

Have been leaning about Charlie and the chocolate factory, they have been learning about the characters feeling’s mostly Veruca and Agustas Gloop. They have been using there imagination to draw a picture. They labelled characters emotions and for Veruca they wrote things like rude sassy ect. They have been trying to get the hang of using inference while reading. 

P5s  

Have you ever been to St. Modens care home well this week the p5s has been helping the elderly by making gift boxes how sweet is that! Other than that, they have been doing maths with choosing jobs with math and with looking at inventions and how math plays an important role in the world. 

P6 

This week the p6’s has been doing French with Mrs Smith. They have been learning how to ask how to ask someone what the day is like today and how to respond. In their health and wellbeing, they have been Learning about how bad smoking and drinking is and how to make good decisions. In maths, they have been doing 2D and 3D shapes like how to draw triangles circles and how to find the diameter and radius. The p6’s have also been reading the first part of the Beowulf story and making a story map about it. 

P7 

Have you ever had a visit from a PSW from the BIG Fraserburgh Academy? Well, the P7’s has, and they were listening to a Presentation that the PSW presented! P7L have been creating a personal project! They have chosen between 3 subjects which were: Leisure, Entertainment and World Cup! We would personally choose Entertainment, What about you? They have also had parents and guardians come in for Sharing the Learning! They have been showing their parents and guardians their improvement in their coding skills. The final thing they have been learning is algebra! All together we think they have been working very hard this week!

Welcome to this week’s blog! This week the p6s has been extra busy with the egg competition and the p4s and p5s have been doing story writing so get your easter eggs ready so let’s get right into this

 

 

P7s

Are you good at coding well you will be excited for this next bit? Some of the p7s have been working on Lego league where you have fun with friends and do coding. Well, if you like Lego just wait for Friday you might get a little surprise on the assembly. Do you like to be dramatic well we have been doing drama outside and having lots of fun doing this and soon some people might be better than professionals.!

 

P5s

This week the p5s have been extra busy with wool and weaving to make tartan let’s hope no one is having a wedding any time soon. Do you like Easter well this week they have been doing a lot to do with Easter in p5 they have been learning the story of Jesus and why he is importin and in maths they have been doing fractions into percentages let’s see is the p5s have been paying attention so what is 1/5 into a percent.

 

P4s

Do you like shapes? well p4s have been learning to do shapes symmetrical circles and preserves writing about making their teachers a Jacobite or a red coat let’s hope it’s not a red coat but if it is run

P6&P7 

Have you ever done a big litter pick well the p6s and p7s have done a wonderful job at litter picking today. They have filled lots of big black bags with litter down at James Ramsey Park it’s starting to look a lot better. It’s also safer from glass so hopefully no more nasty accidents. 

P5 

When we went to find out what the p5s have been up to this week Mrs Harvey wasn’t there but 2 keen students (Lilly- Star and Lucia) told us that they have been doing angles and have also been doing directions. They have been writing amazing stories about persuasive writing for joining the Jacobite’s for the redcoats. 

P4 

This week we asked the p4 teachers about what they have been doing. Have you ever written a persuasive writing well the p4s has been writing all about if you want to join the Jacobite’s or the redcoats. For math they did a post assessment on angles and some of them math geniuses are on step 5 and 6! They all made amazing I movies for black houses with green screen. They are all really enjoying playing rugby for gym and some of them really have done an amazing job. 

 Later on the week you might just be lucky enough to see some beautiful photos on what we have been doing this week. 

P4-P7 15.3.22

P7 

The p7s have been doing drama (which they all really enjoyed). They have also been doing enterprise work to help fundraise for dalguise.  

 

P6 

The primary 6s have been making toast it costs 20p per slice. They have been doing it to help fundraise for their trip to Lochter. 

 

P4&5 

The p4s and 5s have been doing work on Jacobite’s. They made weapons and did a big re-inactment of the battle of Culloden.
