ARBROATH HIGH PTA – OLYMPIC CAR TREASURE HUNT

Arbroath High PTA in conjunction with Arbroath Round Table is holding an “Olympic” Car Treasure Hunt on Sunday 27th May, starting from the High School at 2 p.m. and concluding at Gayfield at 4.30 p.m.  Cost £5 per car which includes refreshments.   There are lots of prizes to be won, including one for the most outrageous fancy dress!   It is guaranteed to be a fun filled afternoon for the whole family.  Places are limited so book now by calling the High School Office on 01241 872033.

Easter Multi-Sport Programme

Birkhill Primary School is running a Multi-Sport Programme from 3rd to 6th April for pupils in P5 – S1. Those who are between P1-4 pupils can take part in a Football Camp which is being run by Dundee Football Club. More details can be found on the ‘What’s On’ page of the Blog

Gaelic Medium Education – A.G.M Thurday 22 March 2012

Comm Nam Parant Aonghais – the parent group for children in Gaelic medium units in Angus are having their A.G.M on Thursday, 22nd March at 3.30pm in the GMU at Whitehills Primary School.  All are welcome.  We have a few guests coming along, Gillian MacDonald (school teacher of the GMU), Susan Duff (Education), Chris Duplano (Gaelic Development Officer Perth/Kinross Council) with a few more to respond.  Hopefully this will give much needed clarity to anyone interested in what is being achieved in Gaelic Medium education.  Tapadh Leat (Thanks)

Minibus Appeal – Wednesday 7 March 2012

Webster’s Parent Council are holding a special Minibus Appeal meeting on Wednesday 7 March 2012 at 7.00pm in the Staff Room of WHS. We are hoping parents of children in Webster’s, parents with children in the Webster’s Cluster and other community parties will come along with ideas and enthusiasm for raising £20k for a new minibus.
