First week of P7 ,Yay.

 

Writing

In writing this week we wrote a recount of our summer holidays. We were only allowed to pick one thing to write about in detail. Many of us did it on a resort or park, others did it on an exciting experience.

 

Reading

We did a task map. This task map was different because this time instead of Miss Sharp making up the questions, we had to make the questions up ourselves . Then we moved the sheets around the tables and we did the other tables tasks. The task was about the video ‘Soar’, which is all about having a growth mindset.

 

IDL

Our topic for the next week is the Power of Yet. So far we have done questions, a poster and a wall display. On the wall display there is a gigantic hole in the middle of a path, and there are pictures of us on it with speech bubbles saying things like “I finally got there.” and “ I can’t do this yet.”

 

The Unfair Quiz

The unfair quiz is a very unfair quiz. Basically there is 2 groups A and B. The reason it is unfair is because some of the questions are really hard and others are really easy.

It is also unfair because Miss Sharp can add points onto any team whenever she wants to.

The team that is closest to 0 wins. The points were 110 and 22 to the A’s.

 

Bubble Blowing

Bubble blowing. You are probably wondering what on earth is that. Well on Friday we got 10 art straws; 10 straws and a pile of pipe cleaners, to build into a bubble blower. There were many differant designs they were all pretty different.
