We had to do a super hero poster in our group our super hero was called The Ferocious Frog and its logo is the FF.Its weakness is a fly he has lazier eyes and stretchy legs.

Yesterday we started a topic on super heroes and we looked at a power point of super heroes then we went back to our groups and we made a super heroes oliver was the manger robbie was the artiest and i was the scribe our super hero is called Toxy he’s half dinosaur half of a dolphin and half of toxic then i did the title and we’ve got a toxic sign on it and toxy is very strong thank you for listin. 🙂 😛 😮 :3 😀 :v . On Wednesday 22nd February we made super heroes my groups super hero was called Precious Poppy her weakness was weeds she lives in the rain forest and she looks after where she lives. Her power is flower power!

On a Wednsday and Thursday we do P.E and on Wedensday our P.E teacher called Iean. He teaches us hockey and basketball useallay and there is a game called splat. On a Thursday ewe do cirses training that is when you have a partner and you go different things and see how long you can do it for. 🙂

Our new topic is based on super heroes but I wasn’t
here when we got told it because I was off, my groups super hero is called Toxy my group came up with that name by combine ding every persons super hero in our group. At the end they came up with Toxy.

Every Tuesday we do time. We have clocks in our tray which we use to do the time on but we don’t always use them! Today we all done time again we had work sheets about time. We had five boxes we had to write our favorite television proggrammes in. Next we had to write what time it started and what time it ended. Then we had to write what time it finished.

Today Tuesday 21st February 2012 we were learning time. Then Miss Browns P4’s came in and They were Learning time to. First we had a practice with our clocks at to and past everybody was correct all the time. Then some of the class got computers and they went on a website and they did a sheet called my t.v. guide.

On Sunday the 26th of February is our Shinty tournament, it’s p4/5 and 6/7. were in teams and my team is Jodie, Me, Maisie and Harry. Can’t wait on at 12 o’clock till 3 o’clock at Bowmore hall

Today is the 2nd day of the school holiday the last day
we were at school it was Thurday 9th February and we were having a internet saftey day and we had our parents
at school, we were teaching them computer skills we were also showing them a power point and a video then
after the video we had a quiz about what they have learnt and to also see if they were listening.

Today was Internet Safety Day, and it Was also Denim for Diabetes. For Denim for Diabetes every body wore jeans, it was very fun it was also swimming for P5-7 I improved my swimming today. By Danni

On Thursday p4/5 had a internet Saftey day and our parents came round to teach them some skills and they got teas and coffees and homemade Chocalate cake.

I AM LEARNING NEW SKILLS FOR INTERNET DAY AND I AM BEING TAUGHT BY ONE OF THE BOYS IN P4. I HAVE LEARNED TO PUT PHOTOS ONTO A MEMORY STICK. NOW I AM LEARNING HOW TO DO A BLOG.

Today we went to the P4/5 classroom to see how much they had learned about internet and internet safety. Then the pupils taught us some ICT skills.

Last Friday, P1/2 came to school in their old clothes ready for a day of action creating Dinoland. We invited our parents in to help us and we all had a very busy day painting, building and using paper mache. It was great fun and we now have a massive big dinosaur in our class and a volcano! We even have a time travelling tunnel that you can crawl through to get back to the time of dinosaurs.
We are still working hard to complete our dino nest and eggs.
Today we had a Glow meet with Liberton Primary in Edinburgh who are also learning about dinosaurs. They tweeted us some questions about dinosaurs and we have been looking at books and the internet to help us find the answers.
We are going to have another glow meet with them tomorrow to tell them what we have found out.

We learning about polar regions in p3/4. this is a fact that we learnt in antartica that ice bergs can be 100ft long and 25 miles across. Narwhals live in the Arctic and have a spiral tusk about 2metres long.

In primary 3/4 we are learning about the polar regions. The Polar bear is the largest land predator in the Arctic. We have also found out that emperor penguin can stay under water for twenty minutes and they can drink both fresh and salt water. We also found out that Antarctica’s thick covering of ice makes it the highest continent in the world.

we have been learning about the Arctic and it has cold winters and cool summers there are penguins, snow owls, arctic hare.

The Arctic polar bears actually come from Greenland.
The male hooded seals inflate their noses by closing one nostril and blowing air through the other one. Polar bears are the largest land predator in the world and also often swim up to 60 miles between patches of ice.

The Arctic is actually a desert made up completely of ice as it hardly ever rains and hardly ever snows. It has very cold winters and cool summers. The animals on the Arctic is killer whales, penguins, orca whales, Arctic fox’s and polar bears.

We are learning about polar regions. We have found out that the weather is bitterly cold and windy and the Arctic and Antarctica are covered in snow and ice. We have been learning about polar animals and have found out that polar bears only live in Antarctica and penguins live in the Arctic. We are having a good time learning about our topic.

We have been looking at really hard puzzles and  trying to slove them, it is linked with professor Layton on the DSI, it is a really fun way of learning . We were told to make a class puzzle book, you could use one of your own puzzles or Mrs Harrison would lend you one of her puzzle cards to use. I used one of my own- Ramon got in trouble with Inspector Chemly and got send to S.T Mystere Jail. He was locked in a cell with a steel door(no hloes in it) so he couldn’t break down, no windows and rock hard walls. All that was in the cell was a piano, a calender and  springs. How did he eat, drink and get out.

A- He used the DATES on the calender as food, he DRUNK the springs(water) and he used the KEYS on the piano to get out. If you got it right then well done!!!
