Our Burns Celidh

On Tuesday the 24th of January the whole school had a Burns Ceilidh in the afternoon for parents to come along to.  We had to learn dances including the Gay Gordons, Virginia reel and Canadian barn dance. There were highland dancers, music and Scottish poems like Address to a Haggis and Primary 3’s one above about a deep fried mars bar! For lunch there was haggis or mince and tatties and the haggis was piped round the stage then cut up by the primary 7  while saying Address to a Haggis . There was a lot of people at the Ceilidh and we were happy for people to be there.
