Tricky Words in G1

Tha Clas 1 air a bhith trang an-diugh ag iasgach airson faclan chumanta. Tha iad uabhasach math air na faclan a leughadh.

G1 have been busy this morning, fishing for tricky words on the tuff tray. They are great at reading their words.

Leugh le Linda

Rinn sinn seisean còmhla ri Leugh le Linda an-diugh air Teams. Dh’ionnsaich sinn na samhlaidhean airson diofar bheothaichean, dh’èist sinn ri sgeulachd agus sheinn sinn òran ùra. Bha sinn air bhioran nuair a chunnaic sinn na sgoiltean eile.

We joined in with Leugh le Linda today for a live session. We learnt the signs for a few different sea creatures, listened to a story and sang a new Gaelic song. It was exciting to see so many other Gaelic classes from all over Scotland on our screen.

Tartan Making for Burns Days in ELCC

Robert Burns style group time! Today we discussed tartan and looked at lots of different tartans on the computer. We spoke about families belonging to a clan and having their own individual tartan – colours and patters.  This morning we designed our our group tartan.

Music Making in P1/2

We listened to music called ‘The Storm’ by Benjamin Britten. After lots of practice with the instruments we made our own composition of the storm from our story about the Loch Ness monster. Can you hear the storm get loud and then quiet again? We explored different rhythms and tried to add that in too.

Christmas Lunch in BPS

Chòrd dìnnear na Nollaige glan ri Clas 1-3 an-diugh! Fhuair iad truinnsear làn bhiadh agus reòiteag na Nollaig mar mhìlseag. Seall air na geansaidhean spaideil aca cuideachd!

G1-3 really enjoyed their Christmas lunch today at school! They had a full plate of delicious food and a Christmas ice cream for pudding. Look at all their fancy Christmas jumpers!

Clann ann an Èis.

Dh’obraich Clas 1-3 còmhla gus Pudsey mòr a dhèanamh à pàirtean-sgaoilte airson Clann ann an Èis.

G1-3 worked together to make a big Pudsey Bear using the loose parts for Children in Need.
