The nursery parent group planned and hosted their first ever disco for the children who are at the Early level. It was extremely well attended by the children and their families and it was a wonderful success. Local DJ, George Noble, kept the dancing going with his wonderful selection of music. A huge number of P6 children volunteered to be buddies and led the dancing, helped serve juice and a biscuit and were fantastic at tidying up at the end. Overall there was great excitement and the children would now like a disco every week!
Primary 6 and Primary 7 have been learning a whole range of Scottish ceilidh dances this term. The culmination of this work was twofold, a wonderful ceilidh last night and then this morning a whole school Strictly dancing competition, complete with judges! Both events were wonderful!
Strath of Appin Primary pupils enjoyed a fantastic Halloween Party planned by the Primary 7 pupils. After meeting to discuss and share ideas for games, activities and all the ingredients required for a successful party, the P7 children set to work.
Easdale Primary School pupils enjoyed a fantastic Halloween lunch this week. The lunch hall was looking very spooky and pupils enjoyed a taste of pumpkin soup before tucking into tongue rolls (hot dogs!) and fruity fingers! All pupils then took a turn and performed a joke, rhyme or song. A huge thank you to Mrs MacKechnie and Mrs MacLarty for their hard work and effort in making the lunch so tasty and enjoyable.
