Drumlemble Primary School – Farewell to Mrs. McIntosh!

Drumlemble Primary have had a fun filled week in the lead up to Mrs. McIntosh’s last day prior to commencing her maternity leave.

The children have been partaking in lots of outdoor learning focusing on the subject of Wood, sometimes even catching the sunshine.

The Pre Fives took delivery of some fabulous wooden furniture and toys in a bid to revamp the unit into a more natural environment utilising natural materials.

We also bought some new natural wooden wobble boards which the P1-3 children have been demonstrating.

A number of children entered the BBC Radio 2 500 Words competition.

We finish the week with some Samba Drumming workshops and a school disco run by the Parent Council.

Mrs. McIntosh had a lovely farewell celebration from the children with lots of gifts, flowers and cake! You can find pictures within the gallery of all the activities.
