Primary 3/4 have been doing algebra, division and times tables. They have been using connectives in their writing and they wrote an imaginitive story in writing. They have been making adverts for their toys in groups during art and also made up an advert using ICT independantly.

P1/2 learning
P1/2 have been learning how to say hello and thank you in Spanish. In maths they have been learning 3d and 2d shapes. During ICT they have been learning how to write their name in order. During IDL they have learned where food comes from.
P5,6,7 learning
In p 5,6,7 P6 have learned how to round decimal numbers, adding and subtracting them. p5 have learned the 6 and 7 times tables. p7 have being learning to use BOMDAS in calculations. In IDL we have been making our model of rollercoasters in groups. During language we have been story writing and are working on a story about Our World is beautiful. We have also begun to prepare the shelter to create out mural which the class collaborated to design.

P1/2 learning this week
This week primary 1 and 2 have been learning about how to make bread and what in ingredients you need. They have also been looking at photos of sheep for their topic farming. In R.M.E. they have been looking at passover and what it is. They have been learning about shapes and how to identify them. They have been learning about Humpty Dumpty and thinking about rhyming words.
Primary 3/4 learning this week
Primary 3 and 4 have been working hard in maths this week. P4 have been learning to divide by 2 and 3 while P3 have been learning about chimney sums. They have also been challenging their personal Big Maths scores. They have been practicing hard for their class assembly and completing lots of art activities. They have been exploring drawing with charcoal and creating mosaic pictures of their favourite toys.

Thursday 16th September
What a busy day in nursery! In the messy room some children were making their own clocks using the junk materials, there is still interest in printing numbers. There was lots of water play and interest in the numbers on the side of the jugs.
There was a fire engine in our nursery big room today and this sparked a lot of interest.
Lots of outdoor play today, the PM children played ‘What’s the time Mr Wolf?’.
In group time we heard the story of The Three Billy Goats Gruff and tried to recall the story by sequencing the main events using sorting cards.
P3/4’s learning this week
P3/4 have been learning how to divide. They have learned how to set the division out and chimney sums. They were making songs, a rap and its a secret! They were learning how to tell the time including half past and o’clock. Not to mention learning more Olly’s options, 8 of them! In PE they learned gymnastics and had a fun time on the wall bars. They learned about where certain religions go to worship to their Gods. They have also been doing comparisons and have learned what it means by asking and answering questions.
P1/2 Weekly learning
P1/2 have been busy writing a ” I am thankful for….” story and learning more of the alphabet and tricky words. In maths they have been learning more numbers and counting and adding with them. During drama they have been acting as a fox and a giant. They are still learning about farms in IDL but have been learning more about animals on the farm.
