Dear Parents and Carers

Please find attached link above to home learning grid for Term 1 which has been pasted into the children’s jotters with the spelling grid.

The children will be given reading and spelling to do every week. They should bring in their home learning jotters and reading books to school every day as they will be reading at least twice a week and may need to refer to jotter for spelling etc.

Children should attempt every task on the grid over the term and sign or tick the box when completed so that they can chart their progress.

Kind Regards

Louise McAlpine

Outdoor Learning – P6a

As part of our Outdoor Learning focus this week, we have been outside during our Maths Lesson today.

We were estimating and measuring lengths and distances, using rulers, meter sticks, measuring tapes and trundle wheels.

We then used our measurements to practise converting between different units of measure.

Primary 6a

We had an informative visit to the Loch, where we learned about the animals in the Loch and how they link together in food chains.

We also used the binoculars to identify some of the birds that are found on the Loch.
