This week’s blog is written by some of the P4 children.

Literacy

OL- We have been learning about homophone mix ups. Like,  there/ their  and are/ our.

LL- We have been learning to write in full sentences.  (This  meant that children have also been revising on turning questions into  statements).

ICT

JC- We were looking for information about the “Flower of Scotland”song.

The children did some digging around for the history behind the song.

IDL-

FM- We have been learning about where the Vikings lived.

SD- We danced to Scottish folk song.  We sung and we wrote a review of the song “Ally, Bally Bee”

Numeracy

MS- We’ve been learning to read and use grids.

E0- We’ve been learning to find things by using or finding the coordinates

 

Health and Well- being

JP- We did fixed mindset and growth mindset.

EM- I learnt that I should “Never say I can’t.  Say, I can’t do it yet!!-
