In Literacy we have been writing stories which started off with Santa having a problem. The children had to think about what the problem might be and how it could be solved, so that Santa could do his very important job on Christmas Eve. Some fantastic ideas. We have also done some work on my favourite subject – CAPITAL letters and full stops. We’ll get there.
We have been doing Wintery pictures of Snowy Owls for our Winter Wonderland display in the Infant area.
Thank you to all those who attended our Showcase on Wednesday. The children really enjoyed showing the adults what they were learning. Our activities were based on our class novel – “The Christmasaurus”.
In Maths we continue to work on subtraction.
The children have been learning some Scottish Dancing in P.E.
