Hello!
We hope that you all had a fantastic time at the Marches on Tuesday! We had a lot of fun watching the procession with the rest of our class on You Tube on Wednesday. It was great that it stayed dry!
We had our final Futsal on Wednesday and it was matches. We were divided into 6 teams and we all had a chance to play each other. The red team won and some of us want to continue to play futsal next session.
We were so lucky to have a Better Movers and Thinkers session on Monday, it was a fantastic session!
We would like to thank Mr Stewart for coming to teach us!
We are looking forward to the Quidditch tournament on Monday! We are playing in our house teams but our house names have been changed to Harry Potter names!
We would like to take the opportunity to thank Kieran, our coach, who has given up his own time to come to Springfield and teach us a new sport, it has been an incredible experience and we are all super excited about Monday!
We were BEYOND excited to meet our P2 PALS this week, it was amazing to be appointed a leadership role for P6!
Mrs Gordon taught us French on Thursday which was a lot of fun. We watched ‘High 5’ and we sang French songs. We also watched Thomas the Tank Engine in French with the other P5 class and we were so amazed at how much we could understand of the storyline!
In Maths we have been looking at time, telling the exact time in minutes and hours. We recognise the importance of learning time and how we can use this life skill in future. We looked at time duration and managed to calculate some really tricky challenge questions.
Many thanks to all who came along last night to meet Mr Wells, he was delighted so many came.
It was very exciting to meet our new teacher, Mrs Matos, this week. We all wrote her a letter introducing ourselves and sharing what makes us unique.
We are all looking forward to the Gala Day tomorrow, we all hope that you all have a wonderful day.
We can’t wait to see the Springfield float, go team Springfield!
We hope that you all have a lovely day on Sunday and that that dads/special person enjoy Father’s Day!
Happy weekend!
