P2, P2/3 and P3’s Victorian Day

On Thursday P2, P2/3 and P3 had a Victorian Day in school and dressed up how Victorian children would have in the past. On the morning we practiced some Victorian handwriting and also carried out some times tables drills aloud. We also got the opportunity to try some ‘gruel’ …. yum!

In the afternoon we split into three groups and rotated around three different activities:

  • Making a kite
  • Making a peg doll
  • Taking part in Victorian games

We all really enjoyed our Victorian day and would like to say a huge thank you to everyone for all of their help, including those who helped to make  costumes and the frames for the kites!

We are all looking forward to flying our kites at the weekend!

Have a lovely weekend from P2, P2/3 and P3 🙂

  1. I cannot thank everyone enough for helping to provide this opportunity for our children! It has been a ‘kite production line’ at SPS for the past few days! Happy kite flying!
