Grandparents’/Special Person Day in Nursery

This week we have been sharing our learning in nursery with some very special people. Our children had the opportunity to invite a grandparent or a special person to nursery and explore the activities available to our children. Everyone was very excited and seemed to enjoy both sessions. Over both days we had over 100 visitors and have been delighted with the very positive feedback received.

Our special visitors have commented that the children  have been learning – how to make soup with sticks and mud, how to share, ball skills in the outdoor area, co-operation and how to be creative.

Some of the comments from our visitors has stated – “we loved the songs, the children were all involved”, “what an exciting nursery, I wish I could have stayed longer” and “keep up the great work.”

All the staff and children at Bonnytoun Nursery would like to thank everyone who attended.
