It’s been Halloween this week and it was great to see so many pumpkins brought in on Monday. Well done to Maisie for winning the competition. This week:
- In Maths we have been adding using mental methods including partitioning, hundred squares and number lines.
- We wrote imaginative stories about a Scarecrow coming alive and we look forward to sharing these with parents at the open morning next Wednesday.
- We learnt about the skills needed to be a successful entrepreneur.
- In French we have been practising our numbers
- We made a class poppy wreath in preparation for Remembrance Day.
- We played some Halloween games during our PE lesson.
- Some of us had great fun at the Halloween disco.
- For reading this week we did ‘The Bubbling Cauldron’ a Halloween themed comprehension.
