The Hive children are all settled back into school life and our new children are getting used to the routines. We have been working hard to practise old and learn new concepts in Numeracy and Maths. Some of the children were learning about place value and addition of 2 digit numbers. We were also looking at different ways to make 20. Some of our children were working with patterns and shape.
At the start of this session classes will be focusing on our Listening rules and will refer to these daily.
Listening and talking skills are essential for good communication. We aim to give learners a wide range of opportunities to listen and talk for different purposes both at school and at home.
