January 2021 Active Fun Challenge

Hello everyone,

Today we are starting a new activity challenge. The Active Fun 2021 Challenge. In this competition we will play against the other houses and against other schools.

This is a friendly competition but we want to try our hardest to be as active as possible. Have a look through all of the information then get logging those minutes!

Well done in PE

Thank you for all your hard work completing all the PE tasks during home learning. Although it wasn’t the normal Health Week,  Sports week and East Calder Marathon, I am so proud of how you accepted the challenge of PE home learning.

I hope that you have an active and fun summer. I can’t wait to see you in August and hear all about your summer adventures.

Health and Sports Day

To all East Calder pupils,

You have been incredible during Health Week. Together you ran 255km, took part in a wide range of activities and scored a combined 35577 points at Sports Day! It was so nice to receive so many emails, photos and videos of your Health Week learning.

You are all fantastic. I am a very lucky and proud PE teacher!
