Continue with your Personal Project. Here is what I posted last week to remind you:
As we don’t have long until the end of term, we thought instead of starting a new topic together that you could do a mini project of your own to work on until the Summer holidays. You can pick an animal, a sport, a hobby, a type of car, a singer/group you like – anything like that, to do your own research project on. Start off using the mind map below to record what you know already about your chosen topic, then collect as many facts, information, and pictures as you can. Remember to make your facts interesting and fun! If you can print pictures that would be great, but it would also be amazing to see of your own drawings, models and creations! We can use this to share with each other when we are back to school after the Summer!
Art
Make a Wearable Keepsake: Decorate a T-shirt, or baseball cap, or make friendship bracelets – these could be decorated with something to do with Deans Primary or just with things you like!
God morning boys and girls, I can’t believe we have made it to the last week of term! Don’t worry if you haven’t made it all the way through your packs, you can keep them to complete any time in the future. So for this week let’s continue with our class trip to Disney.

End of the year questions
Here are 2 new questions for you to discuss with someone at home. Remember, these questions help you to reflect on your year and identify what went well and what your next steps might be for next year!
What is your favourite part of the day in our class? Why is it your favourite?
What is something that you taught your teacher or your classmates this year? What did you teach them?
Cardboard Tube Monsters
Your challenge is to make a cardboard tube monster! Make your monster as unique and crazy as you can! If you do not have all the materials listed, use your imagination and see what you can find to use instead. I would love to see your finished monsters! Please send a photo of you and your monster to wldeans-ps@westlothian.org.uk. Remember to include the name of your monster in the email too. I cannot wait to see how creative you all have been!
Design your own Tablet game
I know many of you love to play games on your tablets or phones. I thought it would be great fun if you could design your very own game! Have a think about the following points for your game:
What is your game called?
Who are the characters in your game?
What is the setting of your game?
How many players is the game for?
Does your game have music?
What age is your game for?
How do you win the game?
Use the template below to draw the main screen of your game and then write at least 4 sentences which will make people want to play your game.
Numeracy
Watch the number bonds videos below to remind yourself of number bonds to 10 and 20. Once you have watched the videos, I have attached a great game for you to practice addition! I had a go myself and it was so much fun! You can select whatever level you like but remember it is great to challenge yourself!
Robot Addition Game – https://www.topmarks.co.uk/addition/robot-addition

Watch the videos below to remind yourself of alphabet facts. See if you can discuss the questions with someone at home.
If you have time or any problems with these games go on Sumdog(maths). Remember you can use your book for jottings if you need to.
Sadly, I am not able to be on TEAMS today so just work through the day’s activities and do the best you can. I will be on TEAMS tomorrow to discuss your learning.Good luck!Have a great day!
Health – Reflection
Sadly you will soon finish being a P5. You have much to look forward to as you move into P6. I thought it might be nice to spend a little time this week reflecting on your time as P5s.
Reflection Questions set one Think about the questions in this document. You can to talk to someone in your family if you want. If you would like to record your answers in your jotter that is a great idea.
