Sponsorship Spectacular 2026

On behalf of the Parent Council, please see the below information about their exciting Sponsorship Spectacular taking place next month!
During April, pupils are invited to take part in the Calderwood Primary and Nursery School Sponsorship Spectacular: Choose Your Challenge.
Pupils can take part by creating their own sponsored challenge. All funds raised will go directly towards supporting the school and nursery.
Pupils can be sponsored to do anything they choose: whether that’s a sporty challenge, helping in the community or doing something creative.  There are a few ideas in the posters on this page, but pupils are welcome to create any challenge they would like.
The Parent Council will be offering prizes for:
– Most Challenging Idea
– ⁠Most Community Minded Idea
– ⁠Most Creative Idea
Pupils will be given a sponsorship form at school or nursery. If your child wants to take part in the competition, could you please make sure that the box on the sponsorship form detailing the challenge your child decided to do is completed. All pupils, regardless of how much money they raise, or if they raise any money at all, are welcome to enter the competition.
Please return the sponsorship form to your child’s champion by Friday 1 May.
Any sponsorship money raised should sent by Friday 1 May by bank transfer to:

The Parent Council are excited to host this year’s Calderwood Christmas Fayre again !

☃️ We’ve got lots of amazing activities lined up for a fun festive day out for the whole family!

As well as some amazing stalls, entertainment and food we also have new surprises for this year 🤩

🌟 With Santa being so busy at the North Pole, he’s sending his friends 𝐌𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐞 𝐌𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞 to visit us 🐭 come and say hi and get a photo with them in Mull Clan!

🎈 We also have a 𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐧 𝐜𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐦𝐚𝐬 𝐬𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐠𝐥𝐨𝐛𝐞 and some props (including Santa’s Sleigh 🛷) to take photos with!

🤗 The fayre is a family event and open to everyone in the community so please come and enjoy a festive afternoon with us and help raise lots of money for our school and nursery!

During the Easter holidays, pupils are invited to take part in the Calderwood Primary and Nursery School Sponsorship Spectacular: Choose Your Challenge.  The Parent Council hope to raise money for digital resources, outdoor equipment and to replenish the school’s collection of reading books.  Pupils can take part by creating their own sponsored challenge.  They can be sponsored to do anything they choose: whether that’s a sporty challenge, helping in the community or doing something creative.  There are a few ideas in the posters on this page, but pupils are welcome to create any challenge they would like.

Christmas Card Fundraiser

Dear Parents/Carers,

This week your children will have ownership in designing their own Christmas Cards as part of a School Fundraiser called ‘Cauliflower Cards’.  This has been organised by the Parent Council.

Your child will bring their design home with an order form on Monday 30TH of September 2024.  If you would like to order any copies of your child’s design please return the form to school by Thursday 3rd of October 2024.

We appreciate your continued support and look forward to seeing the children’s designs!
