Into Calderwood Transition: Into P5-P7

If your child has enrolled at Calderwood for August 2021 and will be in Primary 5-7 (current Primary 4-6 children), you will have received an email this morning with their Teams code.
In order for your child to actively take part in the transition challenges which will begin Monday 17th May, we would request that you share with them the Teams code so that they can access the Into Calderwood Transition Team.
If they have issues accessing Glow, you should contact their current school for support with log ins and passwords.
A gentle reminder, that adults should never log into Glow as their child, Glow is a safe place for children to learn and collaborate together. Guidelines on using Glow can be found here: https://sway.office.com/ZO9JsHcgnSdze402

P1-4 Calderwood Children – August 2021

A gentle reminder, if your child is enrolled for Primary 1-4 at Calderwood for August 2021, can you please complete the Seesaw form below so they can share their ideas during our transition programme.

We will shortly begin to issue passwords.

 

Into Calderwood Transition Programme

Please find below an overview of our Into Calderwood Transition programme that will start week beginning 17th May.

Our email mailing list should be completed this week, allowing those children who are enrolled for August:

  • Primary 1-4 parents/ carers to receive their Calderwood Seesaw log in
  • Primary 5-7 parents/ carers to receive a Team code to pass on to their child

Creating Our Calderwood Community: Calderwood Couture

These 30 minute informal Skype sessions are an opportunity to share ideas between the leadership
team and families, to begin our Calderwood journey. It is intended that small groups of interested
parents/carers will attend, there will be more opportunities for these discussions across the school
year. The sign up will close the day before each event and then the link will be issue.

A summary of the discussion will be available after the meeting.
