Perth clan have enjoyed some fantastic lessons about travelling safely using scooters around our wonderful Calderwood community. We had a brilliant time at our last session on Thursday 15th October and would like to give a massive thank you to everyone involved in organising it. Safe scooting!

Perth Clan – Cabin Tour
In Perth clan we are making the most of the wonderful cabin space we have this year. Our main clan room has plenty of seating areas, resources and working walls to help us with our learning.
Our breakout room was designed by us and is split into 4 clear sections.
- The Regulation Station – which includes a sensory tent, cushions, blankets and items to help children feel calm.
- The Calculation Station – for children to complete their work outside of our normal clan room.
- The Creation Station – a place for all things art and design.
- The Recreation Station – somewhere to relax and chill after a hard days work.
Clan Charter – Perth Clan
In Perth Clan we reviewed the UNCRC and picked the 9 rights that we felt were most important to our school experience. We then ranked them in order of importance and used this to form our class charter.
We decided to use the minions as the theme for our class charter. We all designed our own minion and added it to our display. We created a list of promises for our class and teacher to follow this year and these set the expectations that our class charter was built on.
This year we will aim for the moon in Perth Clan.
