- 08/12/23: Calderwood Connects: Advent theme from the outreach team from Kirknewton and East Calder Parish Church. This will involve a story about advent and some songs. Please email the office to let us know if this is something you would prefer your child not to attend. For clans only.

These emails will be replied to within 48 hours. We always try to get back to families as soon as possible. A gentle reminder, during the school day teachers are teaching and the leadership team are out and about around the school, taking groups, meetings, etc and may not always be able to immediately respond to phone calls/ emails/ drops ins.

Two Week Look Ahead
- Roof install to commence – crane onsite 29/11/23
- Trim trail work ongoing
- Blockwork underbuild to continue
- Pitch fencing to start ASAP, material delivery WC 27/11/23
- Upper first floor slab prep and pour- Pour date tbc looking like 05/12/23, however will depend on weather.

- Thank you to everyone who could join us for Calderwood Chats this week. A big thanks to our P6 and P7 clans for running the event for us.
- The children have enjoyed playing with the new construction toys in the playground this week. Thank you to the Parent Council for fundraising for these.
