Primary One really enjoyed learning about money in maths this week. We learned the value of all our Scottish coins and how many pennies it takes to make each coin. We discussed why we need money and there were some very interesting answers! We worked in groups to help the giant solve his problem in order to sort his coins into the correct money bags. It was a big challenge indeed but we succeeded in the end. Here is some evidence of the work in progress.
Happy October Holiday, everyone!
