This week, we have been learning the sound “ng” (Jack M) and identifying it in different words, such as sing (Natasha), climbing (Calum), swimming (Anna) and ring (Amelia). We wrote a personal story about getting lost (Jack R). We chose how many sentences we were going to write to challenge ourselves (Calum). We practised the alphabet and writing capital letters (Tara). In Maths, we started learning about triangles, rectangles, squares and circles (Aaron). These are called Flat Shapes (Maisy). We found shapes in the classroom (Haaris). We started using What Now? cards (Maha) to give us extra learning power. This week’s Handwriting focus was the letter “g” and we made sure the tail went below the line (Alistair).
Have a lovely weekend!
