Since we have come back to school we have started a new Scottish project and this has involved starting to prepare for our Burns Supper. We have read through our script, given out parts and even started to learn these. We have been busy practising dances and songs that we will perform.
We have started to create our Robert Burns personal projects and designed our front covers as part of this week’s homework. They all look fabulous!!
As part of our technology work, we have planned and put together boxes to hold our WW2 gas masks. We had to design the net of our gas mask box this involved different skills such as our measuring skills, art skills and designing skills.
We had our first lesson with Mr. Gibson, our new PE teacher! We worked in small groups on different gymnastic skills. We are looking forward to having the opportunity to try lots of different activities this term.
In class we have made shooting stars with our New Year resolutions on them. We had to pick four resolutions that we wanted to put on our wall display. We enjoyed this task, especially the drawing and colouring!
