Well, Primary One finished the week making the most beautiful ‘Mother’s Day’ cards that I have ever seen!
But let’s back up a wee bit and look at earlier in the week. The class had the privilege of having Mrs Millar and Mrs Roy to teach them for a day and a half while I was working on our Rights Respecting initiative. Both teachers reported that the pupils were exemplary which made me very happy and proud.
We learned how to sing ‘Frere Jacques’ in a round and to say ‘head, nose and ears’ in French and Spanish!
Our RO assembly was great reminding us all about working towards our goals and never giving up!
So, overall, it has been another fab week in P1 and we are all very excited about the last week of term and learning some new and interesting things.
Have a nice weekend everyone and…
‘Happy Mother’s Day’!
