This week in school we had our P5 assembly all about the rainforest! We had learned about lots of things last term and wanted to share with the rest of the school. We have discussed species of animals, layers of the rainforest and the environment in it. We also found out about the life cycle of a frog!

In literacy, we were writing letters to the P4 class to tell them about life in P5 and what we do. We wrote about all of the trips we have been on and what we have enjoyed the most! We’ve also wrote Scottish poems in Scots language as part of our topic this term. It was really fun.

We have been getting better and better at using different strategies in maths to help us with our learning. We love number talks and discussing our learning with a partner, it helps us remember and learn more about it.
