Primary One has been working diligently on their sounds and blending this week. They are all very excited to be taking word boxes home each evening Monday through Thursday. Well done to parents and caregivers who are ensuring that boxes are read and returned each day!
The pupils have also begun to focus on writing a sentence which includes differentiating between sounds and words as well as being able to explain what a sentence is. They are doing incredibly well at this already. If children are writing at home, they are most welcome to bring it into class to share with their teachers and peers.
It was a pleasure to see all of the parents at parent consultations. We are grateful for your continued support and partnership as we work together to provide the best possible education for your children.
Well done to Primary 3 for an outstanding ‘Children in Need’ assembly. Primary One thoroughly enjoyed it! The pupils looked fantastic in their bright, spotty and Pudsey gear. The donations were much appreciated.
Have a lovely weekend!
