Anti Bullying Assembly

Today we had an anti-bullying Assembly.  We met Ben who wasn’t a very nice boy and he did lots of unpleasant things to other children in his school.  We found out that Ben was like this because he thought he wasn’t important and that nobody cared about him.  It wasn’t Ben who was a bully but it was his bullying behaviour which was causing problems………..and the good thing is that you can change the way a person behaves.

So, to sort this out, we created our own very special recipe.  The ingredients were:

  • a pinch of happiness
  • one handful of kindness
  • two spoonfuls of gentleness
  • three cups of sharing
  • a teaspoonful of helpfulness
  • four heaped tablespoons of laughter
  • a bowl of smiles
  • a sprinkling of cheerfulness
  • and stir in some love.

We then mixed all of this together and, in true Great British Bake Off style, we put it on the window ledge and waited.  Now, this is what happened………………………………………..

Now isn’t that magical what can happen when you change your behaviour.  After all, it doesn’t cost anything to change the way you behave but it could make a big difference to someone else.  A little change can go a long way.
