Dogs Trust

Rachel who works at Dogs Trust came in to tell us more about how to take care of your dog. She told us many different facts for example: if a big scary dog came up to you, you would cross your arms and stand still. Soon the dog would get bored of you and it would walk away. She then showed us different dogs that had been abandoned, and finally she showed us how to care for them.

In maths we have started learning about percentages which are tied into fractions and decimals. We were finding a percentage of a number, but sometimes the number wasn’t out of 100 and this made it tricky! For example to find 50% of 200 you would have to half the number.
