Only three days in and the pupils already have so much to talk about on their blog.  Ajay wanted to share that Madame Millar taught the children their colours in French.  Owen wants parents to know that we are now practicing our letter names as well as our sounds.  Amelia, who sadly is leaving us today, was excited to write her ‘Holiday News’ the day we returned.  Pupils were doing some fantastic independent writing.  Ollie was excited to learn about Scottish symbols and to choose three to write in his jotter.  Mrs Jones was here to help us with that.  We will also be doing Scottish dancing and art in our Scotland topic.

The pupils are looking forward to next week when they start their reading books, their maths workbooks, their spelling tests and their pupil profiles.  I would say that they are now officially big Primary 1 pupils for real!
