Yesterday we had a visit from Darren who came in to help us to celebrate the start of Christmas advent. He spoke to us about the Christmas story and the meaning behind the gifts that were given by the three wise men. We were then about to decorate our own ceramic tiles to represent the three gifts. Darren also asked us to think about the true meaning of Christmas. We wrote down one thing each that we would wish to change in the world to make it a better place. We then turned our wishes into a paper advent calendar that we can display in our classroom.
