This term we have been finding out more about the Bible as part of our learning in RME. To help us with this we went on a trip to the ‘Bible bus’. The Bible bus is a bus which has 6 interactive activity zones relating to different parts of the Bible and Christianity. On the bus we split into little groups and were able to try out three of the activities each. At one of the activities we were able to use an old printing press to create our own version of The Lord’s Prayer. At another of the activity zones we found out more about different species of animals across the world and also more about the planets in our solar system. We thought about God’s creation of the world and all of the amazing creatures on it.
This week we have also started to prepare for the Christmas fayre. We have written and sent out letters to all of the children in the school informing them about our calendar enterprise. We look forward to receiving your orders and calendar pictures soon!
