Primary One had so much to say about learning and community time this week.  Let’s start with some literacy news.  On Thursday, P1 joined in with schools all across Scotland for ‘BBC Authors Live’ featuring author, Tracey Corderoy and illustrator, Steven Lenton who are the creators of the ‘Shifty McGifty’ books.  Along with reading two stories using props and visuals, Steven gave the pupils a tutorial on how to draw Slippery Sam and then the children were invited to join in an interactive memory game.  The pupils were totally engaged and enjoyed the experience very much!

              

Later that day, many of us attended the fab Hallowe’en disco put on by our great parents!  It was lovely to see the children outwith the classroom setting and having a great time!  Thanks to everyone who organised and attended.
