A highlight this week in primary 5 was writing spooky settings.  We had to include 3 ambitious words and 3 connectives.  Our stories were set in a graveyard… they were very spooky!

Also this week as part of our science topic we have been learning more about bats.  Yesterday we researched about a bat living in the central belt in Scotland and then designed a factsheet about the bat we selected.

In maths this week we have been working on money, following on from money week.  Next week we are going to start multiplication.

Next week we are also looking forward to Halloween, lots of us enjoyed the school Halloween disco last night.
