When asked what P1 could tell me about their learning this week, the first answer was ‘fun’!  What a super answer.  They then went on to talk about reading and writing and how they could use their sounds ‘s  a  t  i  p  n’ to make lots of words.  We worked with magnetic letters for the first time and that was magic.  In maths, we matched dotted patterns to numbers and we learned to form the numbers three and four.   We went to the GP room for our first circle time and we all shared something about ourselves that others may not know.  We discovered lots of interesting things!

Although it has only been a few weeks, the pupils are well settled.  I hope everyone has a lovely weekend!
