This week the SSPCA came to our school. In Primary 5 we had a talk about Scottish wildlife. We discussed how people should behave if they come across injured wild animals. One fact that particularly surprised us was that bats can eat up to 5000 bugs every night!
Within our maths work we have been practising our multiplication tables. We have been using our mental maths skills to help us to multiply two digit numbers.
We have organised groups that are going to create puppet shows based on the Chinese legend of Nian. Next week we are looking forward to making the puppets, designing the background scenes and writing scripts.
