The zoo and the fayre

On 3rd December P5, 6 and 7 had the chance to visit the Zoo bus. The bus came to the school and we were able to go on it to find out endangered animals within Scotland. We learned about different threats that are facing the animals. For example, some of the fish in Scotland are over hunted. Another threat is pollution, including litter dropped by people. One fact that shocked us was that most of the threats are caused by humans.

In preparation for the Christmas fayre we have been busy making candy cane reindeer, notepads and bracelets. We had lots of fun putting the different items together however we did get a little frustrated when Rudolph’s nose kept falling off! We were careful to follow the correct instructions when putting together the notepads and bracelets. We are looking forward to selling our products and calculating our final profit!!
