Amazonia

On Tuesday 24th November we went to Amazonia. Amazonia is an indoor tropical rainforest which is just outside of Glasgow. We saw lots of different animals that we had been learning about in class. Also, Sam (the lady who worked there) told us lots of new facts about the rainforest and the animals. We were all impressed with the leaf cutter ants and the hard work that they were doing. Sam told us that the ants carrying pieces of leaf would be like us carrying cars!

After we had seen some of the animals, we got to hold some. One of the animals that we held was called Sid, he was a bearded dragon. We thought he would feel very spiky however his tummy was actually very soft.

We all enjoyed our trip to Amazonia and meeting some of the animals.
