Primary One Goes on a Woodland Walk

On Monday, the Primary One class went to Bellsquarry Wood to do a nature study.  It was a bright, sunny, crisp morning.  We had a fabby leader called Ms McMaster!  In the woods, we found notes left by two fairies and we met a zebra who could answer any of our woodland questions.  It was all very exciting indeed!  We learned lots of interesting things.  We found out that moss only grows in clean air.  We saw two bunnies and many birds.  We found bramble berries and Ms McMaster showed up some ‘popping’ berries that are white.

Our time went by much too quickly but we all thoroughly enjoyed it.   Happy October holiday!100_3070 100_3071 100_3074 100_3075 100_3076 100_3077 100_3078 100_3080 100_3082 100_3083 100_3084 100_3085 100_3086 100_3087
