Bellsquarry Primary School

Our Welly Walk in Wilderness Wood.

We had a really lovely walk through the woods on Thursday. The weather kept fine and we all enjoyed getting a bit of exercise with our friends. It was quite a lengthy walk for some of our little ones but they were all very happy and we managed to see some of the sculptures in and around the area. We only had one little accident as one of the children fell in a muddy patch, but mum was there and everything was fine. Both nursery sessions were very tired after the walk and this included the nursery staff ! Our thanks go to the parents who joined in too, hopefully they enjoyed the time with us and might consider another walk in a different wooded area in and around Bellsquarry at a later date.  All parental support is very much appreciated !

Thank you also to the boys and girls from Primary 6 who gave their support too, it was nice to see how caring and patient they were towards the little ones.

Also thanks to our PE students who helped out in our afternoon session.

In the Nursery at present we have a student from West Lothian College , she is with us nearly to the end of term. She will be a great asset as she has lots of experience and I’m sure  the  children will appreciate  Miss Robertson within our nursery setting.

Sorry, no photographs as we forgot our camera twice !! : (
