Our week in Primary 7:
This week we have been playing basketball and rounders in PE. In our music lessons we have been singing three songs in cannon. They were called: ‘The Saints go Marching In’, ‘The Wheels on my Cart’ and ‘Sing’. Within Literacy we have written plans for our WW2 newspaper reports about the outbreak of the war. We have also been developing our numeracy skills by practising long multiplication. Long multiplication is when you take a number such as 372 and you multiply it by something like 27. First you times it by 7 and then again by 2. However, you need to remember that you are actually multiplying by 20; don’t forget to add in the zero! To finish the sum you need to add together your two answers.
