Bellsquarry Primary School

Primary 6 with Fred MacAulay and Radio Scotland

On Tuesday, Primary 6 were invited onto Radio Scotland to chat with Fred MacAulay.

We have adopted a King Penguin at Edinburgh Zoo called Rocky and Fred was interested to find out more about him.  There was also a professor on the show too talking about penguins, what they ate and how they survived in the harsh winter.  We were really exciting and nervous.

We were asked all about Rocky, what he eats and what other facts we were learning about penguins and extreme weather in our class.  Fred also asked us to ‘tweet’ a picture of the class with Rocky when we visit the zoo and he would make sure it was posted onto the Radio Scotland website.
