Zoolab in P2

We were very fortunate to have a visit from the Zoolab company who brought along some ‘friends’ to show us. We had an amazing time getting to know more about nocturnal animals such as the ghost snail, toad, millipede, cockroach and even a snake! Ben said the millipede felt bumpy. Aaron said the snake felt cold. McKenzie said the cockroach is a scavenger. Thank you Zoolab we had so much fun and enjoyed seeing all the different creatures.

Visit from Zoolab

Today P6/5 had a visit from Zoolab. They brought lots of different rainforest animals for us to look at and touch too. We saw a cornsnake, stick insect, scorpion, cockroaches, snails and a tree frog.

“I enjoyed holding the cockroach. It was really ticklely” – Sophie

” I liked touching the cornsnake because it was really cold and had lots of scales” – Arron

” I liked when the frog climbed out of the box and was jumping everywhere” – Jason

” I liked looking at the frog because it was cute.” – Rafael.

We really enjoyed their visit and hope that they can come again.
