We were given the challenge of designing a shoe as a group. We had to pick a target age group, design a logo and design individual shoes. We did some market research to find what was popular with the age range. We then picked one design and made our shoe. Our next job will be to promote our shoes to see if we have successfully made and marketed a product.
Michelle gave us an interesting and thought provoking lesson about the consequences of smoking. We have homework to do ready for her next lesson….

Abby entered the UDO World Street Dance Championships in Glasgow recently. The team came seventh in their category, well done Abby! ‘It was great fun, said Abby’.
Today we have the Osigili Warrior Group visiting our school. They performed songs, dances and taught us about their country and culture. We really enjoyed the performance. They also joined us in the lunch hall.
Today, we had a Judo taster session with Marvellous Marv! We learned some Judo moves and were given a leaflet to take home about the Judo after school club. We all really enjoyed it!
We have had lots of fun getting to know our buddies over the past 2 days!
We have had a wonderful first week in primary one! We have made lots of new friends and have had lots of fun exploring our classroom, shared area and outdoor space!
