We had a great time at our party. Abbey enjoyed playing musicals arms. Cate enjoyed all the dancing and Kayla enjoyed the dance competition. We all enjoyed seeing Sam dressed up as Santa.

We had lots of fun at our Christmas party. We played musical statues, musical arms, corners and pass the parcel. There were also prizes for best boy and girl dancers from each class. Santa paid us a visit and gave each of us a present!
Last Thursday, we had great fun at our Jojo Gnome workshop with author and illustrator, Jo Hall. We practised our listening skills and even had a smell test! We coloured some Christmas cupcakes then made them dance, and Jo turned them into an animation! You can see this here:
Well done to the boys and girls who performed in this years nativity – it’s a baby!
Well done to our amazing school choir who were spreading Christmas cheer at Bathgate Tesco today. We raised £125.20 for school funds! Not bad for an hours work!
Greenrigg Primary has once again achieved the prestigious Green Flag Award from environmental charity Keep Scotland Beautiful. Well done to the Eco Pupil Voice Group and the all the staff and pupils for their ongoing hard work.
Kayla attended a mini medics course on Saturday 16th December with Rebecca. Kayla told us all about the course and the skills she learned. She also showed us how to do CPR! Brendan said she told us how to save a life. Well done Kayla, we are very impressed!
The children presented their assembly which was a very moving service. The children talked about why we wear a poppy and what the poppy means to them personally. Well done girls and boys and a big thank you to everyone who came to our assembly!
Today we have been putting all the skills we’ve learned into practice by playing extreme dodgeball. We self and peer assessed our work:
Kimberley : I need to pass the ball more.
Ben: I thought Tyler played well because he passed the ball lots and was good at dodging.
Scot: I was wasting energy at the start but then I became more focused.
Louisa: I rate myself 10/10 because I tried my hardest.
Well done to Aaron who won the title of man of the match for his excellent throws, passing and ability to keep his eye on the ball.
Well done to Kayla for being the most improved player.
It is that time of year, when noses are running and jumper sleeves are feeling the brunt of it all! If anyone could spare a box of tissues for our class, it would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you!
